About the Centre
The AIU – Academic and Administrative Development Centre (AIU-AADC), Berhampur University was established in October 2022. AIU-AADC, a pioneering initiative of Berhampur University and Association of Indian Universities, is one of the 10th Centres functioning at national level directed towards training and capacity building of faculty members and administrative functionaries of universities for dealing with hybrid/blended learning with focus on latest pedagogical reforms. The AIU-AADC offers short-term advanced training programmes and faculty development programmes aimed at continuous capacity building of the key stakeholders through virtual and physical modes.
The thrust areas envisaged for the programmes include but are not limited to the following:
- Identifying the different components of online teaching and learning
- Designing e-content, open educational resources and adopting innovative instructional delivery models
- Mapping and matching pedagogies and technologies
- Exploring new knowledge domains
- Training of faculty members on advanced research methodologies
- Producing high-quality and high-impact research publications
- Training of non-teaching staff and officers on latest developments in office administration, accounts and financial management
