Department Of Tourism and Travel Studies

Post Graduate Department of Tourism & Travel Studies is the newly created department vide approval of the Academic Council of Berhampur University in its meeting held on 20.11.2021 and Syndicate Resolution No. 58 dated 15.12.2021, with effect from the academic session 2022-23. The Department of Tourism and Travel Studies as per the syndicate resolution shall offer two years regular programme as per the nomenclature- MBA (Tourism and Travel Management with a total seat strength of thirty (30) students from the academic session 2022-203. Besides this, department of Tourism and Travel Studies will offer Ph. D. in Tourism and Travel Management.

Mission
  • The mission of the department is to nurture a learning environment for the creation and dissemination of knowledge of a global standard. The department will prepare its post graduate students for success in today's exciting and innovative tourism landscape. The endeavour is to develop competent and value-oriented professionals, who will add value to the society as well as help in nation building

  • The vision of the department will be to provide outstanding tourism professionals with dynamic management and leadership skills grounded in significant and contemporary industry experience.
