About Human Resource Development Centre
Established in the year 2018, the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) of Berhampur University has been actively organizing several programmes for faculty members and research scholars on different domains. The HRDC is managed by a Director and Joint Director. An advisory committee headed by the Vice Chancellor provides guidance and advisory support to the HRDC team for its activities. The Centre has a lecture hall for 100 participants and is well equipped with start-of-the-art gadgets for ease of imparting training and delivering lectures. It has 40 twin-sharing rooms for the participants, and eight rooms for resource persons. Besides, University Guest House is available to accommodate the resource persons and dignitaries as and when required. Being a residential training/human resource development centre, it has a dining hall to accommodate 42 persons at a time comfortably. In addition, it has other associated facilities such as office room, store room, reading room. The HRDC has been striving hard to meet the aspirations of the faculty members of the Southern Odisha, in particular the faculty members of all the affiliated colleges coming under the jurisdiction of Berhampur University and beyond for their professional development, teacher-training programmes, and training programme for Principals of such colleges. Except for the period during the COVID-19 pandemic, the HRDC has conducted various programmes and a brief of the same is given below:

It also hosts many national and international conferences organized by various departments of the University. During 2023-24, it has planned to conduct a series of Faculty Development Programmes, Refresher course, Orientation Programme and Research Methodology Workshops.
