School of Education

The School of education, Berhampur University came into existence in 2016, the year of Golden Jubilee celebration of Berhampur University to run the B.Ed. programme and to enrich its training programme for facilitating the aspiring students of South Odisha, Mostly the populated tribal areas and other parts of Odisha in general. The School of Education has been accorded its recognition from the Department of Higher Education as well as National Council of Teacher Education from the academic session 2016-2017.

Further, School of education offers B. Ed. and MA (Education) degree.

  1. B.Ed. (2-Year, Annual exam pattern) as per NCTE.

Intake capacity: 50 (Self financing)

Admission: through Higher Education Department through Student Academic Management System (SAMS).

How to Enter into the Course Programme

The students are entered into the B.Ed. course through SAMS

     2. M.A (Education)

Intake capacity: 24 (Self financing)

How to Enter into the Course Programme

The students are entered into the M.A (Education)course through career mark and written test i.e. Common P. G. Entrance Test (CPET) conducted by Higher Education Department through Student Academic Management System(SAMS).

The School of Education conducts study tour( Community work)for partial fulfillment of the study curriculum where the students actively participates to choose a particular area of study in education like the educational behavior of the school going children and the reason behind the drop out cases.

The school organizes seminar, workshops, annual day celebration and many cultural activities in a befitting manner.
