Dr. Aditya K Panda completed his master's degree in Botany from Ravenshaw (Auto) College, Cuttack, and earned his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Utkal University Bhubaneswar (Institute of Life Sciences Bhubaneswar). ...

During his Ph.D. he worked on the immunogenetics of infectious diseases like malaria and filariasis. He has been awarded INSPIRE Faculty award-2012 in the area of Biomedical Sciences from the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, and joined as an INSPIRE Faculty at the level of Assistant Professor in the Centre for Life Sciences, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi on March 2014. He joined the Department of Bioscience and Bioinformatics, Khallikote University Berhampur, as an Assistant Professor in July 2018 and moved to Berhampur University on 1st October 2021 with the amalgamation of Khallikote University with Berhampur University. His current area of research is immunogenetics of autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus, a possible link between autoimmune disorders and infectious diseases, and epidemiological analysis of COVID-19. He has authored more than 85 international publications and successfully executed two major projects. Dr. Panda is an editorial member of PLOS ONE journal.
