Dr. Bandita Kumari Panda is serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Berhampur University, Odisha. She joined Khallikote University in 2018. At present, she teaches Media Commercial, Film Studies, Radio Production, Print Journalism and her area of interest are Advertising, Social Media, Cinema, Online Media, Audio Visual Production, Gender studies and Educational media. ...

Prior to this, she has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Media Sciences, Anna University, Chennai for fourteen years and she holds PhD from the same institution. Also had a brief stint with Educational Multimedia Research Centre, Chennai. She started her career in entertainment programmes of Eenadu TV, Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. She had received the Royal Dutch NUFFIC fellowship and had been trained at the Netherlands. She has attended international and national conferences alike and have presented research papers. For this, she has visited the U.S.A., Europe and Australia.
