Before assuming his current position, Dr. Lakra served as a Labour Officer and Welfare Officer in the Government of Odisha, gaining valuable experience in the field of labour and welfare regulations. Currently, he is a distinguished educator in the Department of Industrial Relations and Personnel Management at Berhampur University, located in the state of Odisha, India.
Dr. Lakra’s areas of expertise within the field of management are Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and Entrepreneurship, which are considered essential subjects in the discipline. He is currently guiding three UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) research scholars as they work towards their Ph.D. degrees.
In addition to his teaching and mentoring roles, Dr. Lakra has made substantial contributions to academic research, with nearly 15 articles published in renowned national and international journals. His active participation in 20 seminars and conferences reflects his commitment to sharing knowledge and engaging with the academic community.
With 13 years of teaching experience and 2 years of corporate experience, Dr. Lakra brings a wealth of practical knowledge to his role. He is also a lifelong member of the Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) in Bhubaneswar, further demonstrating his dedication to his field. His impressive background and extensive expertise make him a highly valuable asset to the academic community and the management field as a whole.
