Dr. Bobita Sarangthem is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Linguistics, Berhampur University, Odisha, India. She teaches some of the core papers in linguistics and also applied linguistics to the post graduate students....

Her areas of interest are Tibeto-Burman languages, Language Description, Language Documentation, Language Endangerment and Ethno-Linguistics. Earlier she worked as Assistant Professor (Contractual) at Centre For Endangered Languages, Tezpur University, Assam. She was awarded the Degree of Philosophy (2012) entitled Sizang (Siyin) Grammar from Manipur University

Her areas of interest are Tibeto-Burman languages, Language Description, Language Documentation, Morphology, Phonology, Language Endangerment and Ethno-Linguistics.
