Biosketch

Mr. Desul Sudarsana is an Assistant Professor in the area of Information Science. He has five years of teaching experience and worked at Khallikote University, Berhampur. In previous institutions, he held various positions such as Assistant Controller of Examinations, Library (in charge), and so on. ...

He qualified for the UGC NET-JRF in Library and Information Science in 2015 and IGCAR-JRF for his Ph.D. work. He has published papers in leading Scopus/WOS-listed journals such as The Journal of Academic Librarianship, The Electronic Library, Annals of Library and Information Studies, Global Knowledge, Memory, and Communication, among others. He received a gold medal in his MLIS program and was a rank holder in MLIS from Pondicherry University, Pondicherry. He was invited as a speaker/resource person for a workshop event in India. His fundamental research and teaching interests include knowledge organization, information retrieval, Scientometrics, Knowledge reorientation, and digital library.
