Dr. Manoj K. Panda did his M.Sc. in Botany from Berhampur University (1998), cleared the CSIR-UGC NET eligibility Test (1999) and completed his Ph.D. in Botany from Utkal University (2011)....

Dr. Panda has more than 20 years of Teaching and Research experience from different institutes of national and international repute namely Berhampur University, Berhampur; Erstwhile Khallikote University, Berhampur; Siksha O Anusandhan Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar; Regional Plant Resources Centre, Bhubaneswar and Dr. RCSIST, Gania. His research interests are in different thrust areas of Biotechnology including Population genetics & Conservation study of threatened medicinal plants, Phytochemical evaluation of medicinal plants and Molecular marker based genetic diversity assessment of plants. To his credit, he has completed 2 projects (1 DBT, Govt. of India project as PI and 1 DST, Govt. of India supported departmental project) and is also having 2 ongoing projects (1 DST, Govt. of Odisha project as PI & 1 Centre of Excellence project funded by OHEPEE, Govt. of Odisha as PI). He has successfully guided 1 Ph.D. scholar (4 Continuing), 2 M.Tech. students, 3 M.Pharm. students and 5 M.Sc. students (4 Continuing). He has also published 20 research papers in various peer-reviewed journals of high repute.
