Dr. Padmalochan Hembram received the Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, West Bengal, India, on 2nd May 2017. He has done his PhD on transcriptiome profiling of salinity stress responsive genes from Phaseolus vulgaris. ...

His work has been published in various international journals and current works are communicated in several international journals which are under review. His current research interests include the synthesis of artificial transcription factors and identifying the promoter regions which differentiate the resistant varieties from susceptible varieties and application of computational tools to understand the biological systems.
