Biosketch

Prof. Manas Ranjan Patra holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Central University of Hyderabad. Currently, he is the Head of the Department and Dean, Faculty of Science & Technology....

He has been teaching Computer Science for the last 35 years and held additional assignments as Director of Computer Center, Director of HRDC, and Director of Internal Quality Assurance Cell.� He was a United Nations Fellow at the International Institute of Software Technology, United Nations University. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, and Applications of Data Mining. He has successfully guided 14 Ph.D. students and more than 100 Master theses. He has 200+ research publications in reputed journals and conferences. He has extensively travelled to many countries in USA, Europe, Australia, Africa, and South-East Asia for presenting research papers, chairing technical sessions, delivering invited talks, and for participating in panel discussions. He has been a member of Editorial boards and Programme committees of many International journals and conferences. He is a member of Association for Computing Machinery (USA) and life member of Computer Society of India & Indian Society for Technical Education.
