  • Best Paper Presenter Award on the topic “Soil resources mapping and its nutrient status in two blocks of Koraput district, Odisha using GIS technology” in the National Conference on Recent Advancement in Civil and Environmental Engineering, November 28th -29th, 2015, Bahal, Haryana.
  • Best paper award on the topic “Carbon Storage Potential in Dominant Trees of Koraput District of Odisha” in International Conference on Water, Environment, Energy and Society, March 15th—- 18th, 2016, AISECT University. Bhopal, India and Texas A & M University. Texas, USA.

I had been a DST-INSPIRE Fellow from Central University of Odisha, Koraput on Forestry, Climate Change and Remote Sensing in the Department of Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources with a good academic career. I have been working on various scientific domains and publishing research articles in international and national journals on a wide range of topics using various subjects and using my software skills since the past 8 years. The need of the hour is the simulation and projections of the ecological and social changes and also conduct fundamental and applied researches using modelling approach and also utilize it at the ground level using the tools like GIS and Remote Sensing. I have worked on various research, advocacy, documentation and capacity building in scientific research, livelihood, disaster resilience, health & nutrition to add to the dynamics of my experience. I am proficient and have performed various ecological modellings including Species Distribution Modelling, Biomass and Carbon Modelling, Spatial Correlation Modelling, Future Projection Modelling, Analytical Hierarchical Modelling and Weighted Overlay Modelling which also reflects in my research articles and book chapters.
