Biosketch

Dr.Sasmita Behera is an Associate Professor at Home Science Department, Berhampur University. She obtained her P.hD. in Textiles from Berhampur University. She has been in the teaching profession for more than 28 years. ...

She has many national and inter-national publications published in peer reviewed journals and as book chapters to her credit. She has published four books also. Most of her publications are in the fields of buying behavior of textile consumers and food & nutrition.She has delivered several invited lectures in various universities. Dr.Behera has participated in three different international conferences. Three Scholars are presently continuing their P.hD. under the supervision of Dr.Behera.At present she is the superintendent of Salunki and Jhanjabati Ladies Hostel, Presiding Officer in internal Complain Committee in addition to her normal assignments of the department.
