Biosketch

Dr Suman Kalyan Chaudhury joined as Placement Officer in the cadre of Reader in the Department of Business Administration, Berhampur University in 2011. Having earned his Ph.D. from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar in 2002, he further achieved a D.Litt. Degree in 2019 from F.M. University, Balasore. His areas of interest are Finance, Accounting and Entrepreneurship Development. Driven by a passion for research, he has effectively mentored scholars, resulting in the successful completion of 11 Ph.D. theses and one M.Phil. thesis. Currently, he guides a Ph.D. scholar in the field of Management....

In addition to his academic contributions, Dr. Chaudhury is a prolific author, having penned four textbooks, 11 referred books, and edited 23 volumes for reputable publishing houses. Noteworthy is his extensive publication record, comprising over 150 articles in esteemed national and international journals, as well as edited books within the academic sphere. With an impressive 24 years of teaching, a decade of research, and over three years of industry experience, he stands as a seasoned professional.
Dr. Chaudhury’s scholarly engagements extend beyond the classroom, with active participation in over 125 international, national, and regional conferences, seminars, and workshops. His global outreach is exemplified by his presentation of a research paper at the 3rd International Conference in Nepal from March 27th to 29th, 2015. Moreover, he holds a life membership in prestigious associations such as the All India Commerce Association, All India Accounting Association, and All Odisha Commerce Association.
