He joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Bioscience & Bioinformatics, Berhampur University in October 2021. Before joining Berhampur University, he was working as Assistant Professor at Khallikote University, Berhampur from May 2018 to September 2021. He has gained Post-Doctoral Research experiences from the Mineral Processing and Technology Research Centre, University of Johannesburg, Johannesburg from 2014 to 2017, and the School of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering, University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, the Republic of South Africa from 2017 to 2018. �He was selected for the NSERC CREATE, Mine of Knowledge Scholarship – 2018, in Canada. He has acquired research experience in Bioprocess Technology and Industrial Biotechnology. He has research experience in the development of microbial extraction processes for the recovery of metal values from secondary mineral sources and industrial wastes. He worked on the development of bioactive molecules as green reagents for mineral flotation and beneficiation. He has experience in the development of microbial coal de-sulfurization and degradation of organosulfur compounds in petrochemicals. He has published his research work in the journals of international repute.
