Dr. Sushil K. Pathak completed his M.Sc. in Botany from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 2002 and obtained his Ph.D. degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in the year 2009. Subsequently, he served as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden (2009-2011) and Stockholm University, Sweden (2011-2017)....

He joined Khallikote University as an Associate Professor in the year 2018. Since October 2021, he is serving as an Associate Professor at Berhampur University, Berhampur. He was awarded with Ramalingaswami Re-Entry Fellowship from the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India in the year 2018. His research work focuses on studying host-pathogen interactions. Two Ph.D. scholars have been awarded with their degree under his supervision. He has published several research papers in journals of international repute.
