Research Cell
The “Research Cell” of Berhampur University established in the year 2015, vide Syndicate Resolution No: 383, dated 10.08.2015 to look after various Research activities undergoing in Berhampur University and to extend all sorts of support and assistance to the Research Scholars and to the Faculties and to create a holistic Research environment inside Berhampur University. The Research Cell encourages professional researchers and academically inclined students to pursue their area of interest and widens the path of knowledge further. Research Coordinato Dr Prasanna Ku. Aims and Objectives
- Provide research facilities to the scholars by furnishing information regarding various funding agencies
- Facilitate the research scholars relating to their on-time payment of fellowships
- Monitor the progress of the research work of research scholars
- Act as a moderator between the funding agencies and the research scholars
- Short out various problems relating to payments/hostel accommodation and any such difficulty faced by the scholar from time to time by placing the matter before the appropriate authority
- Create research awareness among the faculty and students
- Enhance team work between researchers for interdisciplinary
- To involve the every faculty member in R&D activities, which lead to Ph.D. degree and research proposal writing
- To enhance the research awareness by conducting various national level and international level workshops and conferences and guest lecturers
