The Security wing of Berhampur University monitors the security in the campus as well as safeguards the assets of the University. The Wing is headed by the Security Officer, who is posted on deputation from Odisha Police Service by Government of Odisha in the rank of DSP. He is assisted by the Campus Supervisor and adequate number of Security Guards (Ex-Army) hired on outsourcing basis.
