Sports Council

Sports Council, Berhampur University was established in 1967. It takes pride in being the foremost promoter of sports in the South Odisha. It reiterates its commitment to promote participation, inclusion and excellence in sports at all levels. ‘State Sports Grid’ has been developed so that maximum number of students has access to use sports infrastructure uniformly throughout all colleges under the University. The physical activities and sports are integral parts of Berhampur University culture and society. Sports Council has its own building near the University playground. It is well equipped with Indoor games. It is headed by the Secretary, appointed by the Authority of the University. Football coach and supporting staffs are employed to assist the Secretary.
